 More specifics regarding my problem Pt. 2: Can't connect... I'm an experienced LW user (4 yrs?). I have a home Dell pc (71.6 GB Total; 38.4 free space)/ Windows XP. Just purchased LW 4.14.10 Pro today (sorry to say). Just downloaded Java 1.5.0_09 I'm on cable/Comcast. I'm on McAfee security/firewall (newly installed). I passed the "simple test". I live in the US. I'm not sharing the connection with other computers. Yes, a brick wall is in front of the icon.  I hope this gives you enough detail. As I said above, this problem started a week ago w/ my old LW. I look forward to getting this settled. I've wasted far too much time trying to solve this problem.  |
