Newbie stuck...help me enjoy limewire (won't connect)
 

Evening folks.....after chatting to a mates daughter this afternoon she suggested that I download Limewire to get some more music/movies on my Ipod.

I have downloaded the file and all seems to be working well....except I cant get a connection......the firewall indicator on the bottom left of the limewire screen still shows a firewall activated.

I have turned off windows firewall and also made sure its off from the norton protection centre which came loaded up with my PC

I'm on the net with BT broadband

Can anyone help....i'm itching to start using it

I,m having the same problem. I wonder if there is a problem on limewire's end

im stuck to i get this error... can anybody tell me how to fix this??

it happens every time i search! its had the same error since i downloaded limewire like a week ago and it doesent fix please tell me how to fix
