Connection Prob - message "LW is currently connecting to the network"- BUT IT DOESN'T

When I try to log on to LW, I am getting the message "LW is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network". It's not actually letting me download anything at the moment. Can anybody advice me of what to do.
