 Ok, I did all that, but still nothing. I have LW 4.14.10 on Windows XP. I loaded the Java, which loaded fine (I still don't know what the hell Java does). I SAW MYSELF DELETE THE STUPID FOLDER, then I searched, and it wasn't there, so IT'S DEAD! Then I tried Limewire, and it still won't work.  Should I try removing all traces of limewire, then reloading? I didn't mention that LW won't start at all. Just the square, then the error message. | Someone said don't delete the preferences, load gnuttela, and replace the gnuttela in preferences. BUT, I already deleted my preference folder, and reloding LimeWire isn't returning it. I accidentally emptied recycle bin, so I can't get it back. |
