Connection or Download
 

heres the low down.....

I click to open Lime wire: no problem

Everything loads up: No problem

Connection: No problem

I do a search, PROBLEM. Nothing comes up, as if what I typed doesnt exist .

Thoughts, Ideas , Suggestions :confused:

3. You say you are connected, do you see 3 or more green bars at bottom of screen? (Sample Image)

OS - Windows XP pro, version 2002, service pack 2
Windows firewall - clicked to accept limewire through
384 mb ram
84gig hd, 72gig space left
cable connection, wireless router, netgear

it shows 'My test worked' when I click that link. Also, sometimes at start up I get this message..
Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network.
But I have 5 bars at the bottom that shows the connection.

I had limewire installed on this comp before and it worked fine. Had to reformat, reinstalled it and now it doesn't seem to work, not sure why it won't this time. There is a second comp in the house with limewire installed on it and it works fine, but still can't get this one to work, yet. Will keep trying, but ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
