Bad Connection caused by firewall?? Well i connected fine to limewire w/ dsl as my firewall allowed it but i switched to comcast and got their wireless gateway and now while i can still connect to limewire the brick wall is there meaning it detected a firewall. My windows firewall allows it but apparently somthing is blocking it. What can i do? Can i fix it? |

Okay 1. Xp Home edition 2. i have no firewalls aside from windows defender 3. 512 MB SDRAM 4. im not usre but its anew comp so much hard disk room availible 5. Cable highspeed internet 6. Net gear comcast Gateway CG814WG v2 7. Trying to connect from home 8. lIMEWIRE 4.14.8 jAVA 1.6.0_02 9. Comcast 10. Test worked 11. No sharing 12. I didn't think Windows Defender included a firewall (thought it was antispyware). You can use a software firewall, just make sure that it's allowing LW.
