Default brick wall connection problem.........

ok i have downloaded limewire and i am trying to get a connection on limewire. i have done everything on these forms: i have exception on norton internet security for limewire, turned off the firewall i have Upnp enabled on my linksys wrt54g wireless router, i have accepted upnp on my computer....i get internet on my laptop by a wireless connection. my dad said he has done a firmware update on the wireless router..... i got one little green bar on the bottom of limewire when it is open and a brick wall in front of the globe. i am running on a windows xp home edition laptop......does anyone have any suggestions of what i can do? i am trying to use limewire can't get a connection tab..

You could also try port forwarding for your router, the instructions are here.
Port Forwarding for the Linksys WRT54G
Don't forget to set up a static IP address first! LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the router setup should all be the same number

If nothing works, post back with your system details (see first thread for more info).

Default hey it works now

i just download the .net file and the one i had that folder had 0 KB so somehow that .net file got messed up or something. I just downloaded the .net file and copied if over to that folder after i deleted the dead one and now i get a connection on limewire....thanks
