will not disconect ( help )

hi all
im having trouble disconecting from lw ,, every time i shut down it just starts up again ,, ive down loaded the newest version but still the same prob , tried to uninstall but lw is not showing in add or remove programes. this has only started today b4 today was all fine , need big help as this is driving me crazy and slowing down my lap top........:(
