Is anyone on windstream.net DSL experiencing connection problems?
I have:
Windows Vista Microsoft Firewall Microsoft Defender Spysweeper Trend Antivirus 2007 I have plenty of memory. Limewire 4.14.02 Java 1.6.0_03 I shut down all firewalls and nothing worked. Tried deleting and reloading Limewire tried the gnutell file. I have run scans and tests. I'm ready to give up. Have read every file in the forum and tried every solution. This is my last shot at asking for help. After posting this and several excruciating hours of trying everything possible, I went to the IP address for windstream.net. It asked for a user name and password, I tried admin for both, it worked. It has a firewall setting. I turned it off, it was on high, and that is all it took. :-)
