used to be great now....not so much
 

Ok i used to DL no problem at all then AOL installed Mcafree on my computer and seems like since then i can not connect so no more LM WTF??? ok actually deleted LM Deleted Mcafree Turned windows firwall off and reinstalled LM still nothing will not connect has brick wall saying there is a firewall I have not idea what happened and why and i have tried reading about fixes and stuff and honestly am lost...Also have a laptop on same home network and it still connects just fine so.... Why did it work before on my desk top and not now and how do i get it back???

So...had a friend tell me that a port must have been closed, if this is so how do i go about opening back up

Goto your help bar and type in Open port and it'll give you directions on how to do that. Just look for Limewire. Also you might have to completley uninstall Mcafee from your computer. When I started I couldn't get LW to work for nothing and as soon as I got rid of it LW ran fine. Hope this helps somewhat:)
