Connect One Day, Then Not Connect At All Limewire connected one day, then the next, it didn't connect at all. It's been like this since, several weeks now. I've tried reinstalling it, deleting, then re-adding, it on Windows Firewall, everything. I've asked for help, but nobody's been able to help. I have no idea why it's doing this, considering it was working one day, and from the next day on it doesn't connect. I know I didn't change anything on the computer. I've got Windows x64 Edition, Nod32 Virus Blocker (which I've closed to make sure it's not the one blocking Limewire). If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. |
See whether any of the fixes here help. If LW Will Not Connect If nothing there works, you'll see a link in that thread for posting system details...post those here. |

In LW tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 65000 (you can try any other ports in the range of 49152 - 65535) > apply > ok. You didn't say whether the Speeedstream has UPnP enabled, or port forwarding set up. If you haven't already, try port forwarding. The instructions are here. Port Forwarding for the Siemens 4200 Don't forget to set up a static IP address first. LW's listening port, port number in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the Speedstream setup pages should all be the same number. Did your LW lose connection after you upgraded to a newer version? |
