Why Does Firewall Indicator Show "Not Detected" I have Windows Xp on a DSL modem using Lime Wire V4.14.10 My firewall is enabled. When LimeWire 1st comes up, the firewall indicator shows the brickwall on the World ICON. Then it goes away. Yet LimeWire continues to run ok. WHY?http://www.gnutellaforums.com/attach...delete-mad.gif |
That's good :). That's how it's supposed to work. If the firewall icon is showing, it means that LW is being blocked from accessing the internet. If it's not showing, that means you have it setup properly. It's not an indicator of the status of your firewall. |
