Local IP -> router -> Squid Linux -> ISP

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Local IP -> router -> Squid Linux -> ISP

Limewire says it's running into firewall won't connect through squid and wirless router. It works fine on direct connection to cable modem.

http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ also works fine.
Your test worked!!

Any Squid experts!!! It is my home network so I have full control. I set up Limewire to use HTTP @ 3128. I don't know much at all about P2P. Same results on Linux Ubuntu running limewire.
