ultrapeer status this is not really an problem juat an question , ubuntu 7.10 is my OS limewire works , no firewall or whatever. There is enough space on my HDD connected by cable - iam running the pro version here . - connected to the network without any problems - limewire is running always more then 48 hours here - i always start with 5 ultrapeers , and my status is : leaf after 48 hours running as an leaf , my pc log out because of an mistake of me , i logged into my account ,start limewire and : iam starting as an ultrapeer . This is the second time that this happens to me , after an crash ill start as an ultrapeer . so what are the rules to be an ultrapeer ? meaning : in normal situation with upload of 60KB/s i never become an ultrapeer only connected to 5 ultrapeers is what is see. and now for second time after an crash limewire starts as an ultrapeer and not as an leaf ... Another crazy thing is that iam connected mostly to ip numbers in my own country or country verry close to me ........... anybody can give me some explanation ? thank you merry christmas for everybody ... oke seaching with the status of ultrapeer, connected to ip numbers close to me , is an disaster. i disconnect connect being an leaf upload starts right away . got the feeling that my limewire was captured in my own country , or my isp network only .............. |
This should help... Ultrapeers - LimeWire You can also disable ultrapeer capabilities. Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Performance. Tick Disable Ultrapeer Capabilities. Hope this helps. :D |
