Only One-Bar Connection Quality
 

I just downloaded the latest version of LimeWire from the LimeWire website. The installation went smoothly, but when I try to run it, I (first off) get a dialog box that says:

"LimeWire is unable to write a necessary file because you do not have the necessary permissions. Your preferences may not be maintained the next time you start LimeWire, or LimeWire may behave in unexpected ways."

This doesn't make any sense since I am the only Administrator account on this computer, so I should have all the permissions I please. Also, this is probably a product of that dialog, but when I try to connect to the network, I only get one, small green bar and nothing comes up in searches, no matter how popular the search might be. (i.e., "sex")

So, does anybody know what's going on? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
