I had basic limewire for about seven months and just a couple days ago i had to reboot my pc and lost everything.:bangh: since i have reinstalled limewire it will not connect completly i just get one bar. I think it is my modem firewall that is causing the problem because before the reboot i had a different modem and now i have the new one i mentioned above. I have tried all other avenues and suggestions on the forums and i still am not able to use limewire. I want to know how to go about letting limewire to be abled on my modem firewall but dont know how to go about it. If someone could help i would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. I miss my limewire. im going nuts without it. Thanks

The only thing you can now do is "port forward" your router, just follow the link and then find your router or modem-router:-

Sorry that your problem could not be solved but in my limited experience of Vista I have found it difficult to get it to work with hardware or software that you can easily use with XP.
