This Is Mainly Why Limewire Will Not Connect! (If Re-Installed)

Having Problems With your Limewire Connection? Is it always saying Starting Connection? Try These steps.

Windows XP

Make Sure Limewire Is Closed Completly!

1. Click into start and Click on Run
2. Type In Application Data and then click OK
3. Go into the Limewire folder and Delete The Gnuella file.
4. Click Here and Re-Download it and save it into Application Data in the Limewire Folder. gnutella.net
5. Restart Limewire And you should Get A Turbo Charged Connection :laugh_2:.

If You've Done that and it Still Doesnt Work Then Delete All of your Java Components and Java itself and Re-Install Java. To Be Redirected to the Java Page Click here java.com: Hot Games, Cool Apps and then once on the page click Free Java download Once downloaded Verify Installation and you should Have the Latest Version Java Version 6 update 3.

Would like to know how Much help this was!

Problem

I tried to do the five steps you just posted but in my "application data" folder there is not a "limewire" folder present - even though I have downloaded it (obviously) and redownloaded it, just to be sure! However still not there - any ideas on what the hell is going on; this problem has been pissing me off for way too long now!!!

Thanks

Thats Because Its Not a Folder. Gnuetlla.net Is a File Located In Appliaction Data: In the Limewire folder. You have To delete that One Re-Download it on the link posted and save it into that folder taking the place of the Exsisting file. :D ;)
