![]() I purchased limewire a few years ago but recently had a hard drive crash. Since I reinstalled I cannot connect either. I spent almost 4 hours on the phone with my ISP adding limewire to a safe list and opening the ports to send and receive. Still no luck connecting. I am only trying to run basic at the present time and it shows in my ISP as connected but I continue to get the message limewire is connecting to the network. No bars, no nothing. I don't get it? Any suggestions? Even my ISP can't understand WHY I get no connection. |

![]() I tried again to log on this morning and just decided to wait it out. After about 2 hours all of the bars were green and the firewall turned off. I'm trying to find specific tunes so I think I will leave it on. Still don't know why it takes so long to log on. It didn't used to. Now that it is on, it's still the same great program. |

![]() Limewire AND Frostwire are not connecting. I have limewire and frostwire. It's not my pc cause it's got all the bells and whistles of an up to date, Vista with wifi. I thought it was the wifi service finally caught up, but seeing that this problem is RAMPENT I'm not so sure it's the server I have. This truely does suck! HELP!! Aside from hotmail and messangers with file sharing, this is the only means I have of sharing my files with my friends who are way too far away to visit in person or send snail mail to. Newbie to the board, but not the net... LadySythe |
