Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

I am not sure which model you have, but my guess UPnP is listed under Firewall tab. UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play.
I did all of that and went to the firewall tab, but since i didn't see anything that said UPnP and i didn't really know what else to do, and i have no clue what port forwarding is, so i just turned the firewall off. I have windows firewall on, and it doesn't block LW. And now i can get fully connected to LW! I didn't know that that thing had a firewall. So now that I only have windows firewall, my computer is still safe, right? I don't have to have both turned on??
