 Other Posts do not work I have tried everything. I run limewire 4.14.8 and have the latest java. I do not have a norton firewall and cannot connect to the network. For a little while, uploads were working even though it said i was connecting, but i updated then went back to the version im using now and its still not working(now uploading isnt working). I have tried everything in the forums, PLEASE HELP!  |

| Can you please tell us everything that you've tried (yes, all the fixes that you've tried & also please tell us the size of your gnutella.net file)? And also please give us your system details (you'll find info about the details that we need in the 'if LW will not connect' sticky). Is it only your uploads that aren't working, or are you having problems with downloads as well?? |

| i had the same issue. i have been troubleshooting this since yesterday after upgrading to 4.16. bottom line is i did the following; 1) deinstall limewire completely 2) do a file search on *limewire*.* 3) delete everything, empty recycle bin and reboot 4) download limewire I am now connecting !!!  |
