Hello mates,

I have been using Limewire for about an year or so and I am not able to access it now. Earlier I had an independent broadband, but now I have moved to university accomodation. Though I can use skype to make & recv calls, some of the app like torrents & limewire dont seem to connect. I dont know how to get past the proxy.
can someone help.. i would appreciate if someone could suggest a workaround.. i am not a geek and want to desparately get my limewire up and runnning

You need to check with your Uni, to see whether they allow you to use p2p in their accommodation (some don't because of the bandwidth used).

Is there no work around
 

I dont think they allow p2p, however is there no workaround ?
