Tried Everything, Still Won't Connect.

Just in the last week or two my Limewire has ceased to connect. I have heard others in my area, with different internet connections, complain of the same problem. I have tried every solution I have found: replacing gnutella.net and limewire folder, reinstalling, port forwarding, http proxy, and nothing has worked. I have included the system details list; can anyone help or make any further suggestions?

(I know my way around a computer but I am still somewhat of a layman, so please bear with me if I require some explanation.)

1. OS: Windows Vista, Administrator
2. Windows Firewall
3. 894MB RAM
4. 28.12GB Hard Disk Space
5. Wireless Broadband
6. Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-card
7. Connecting from college dorm
8. Limewire v4.16.6, Java v1.6.0-oem
9. ISP is through University of Akron (host name lib-ap09.infosvcs.uakron.edu)
10. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www3.limewire.com:6346
11. The connection's wireless broadcast by my university
12. This is a new problem, I have been using LW for a few years now
13. I see a brick wall in front of the world icon
14. I had it set to UPnP when the problem occured, I have tried setting to port forwarding
15. I am using AVG Anti-virus and spyware and Windows Defender, AVG should not include a firewall

Your connecting from your dorm room if you are than your school is blocking you. Most schools that have internet Block Lw from what i heard so that they dont get a bad rep from some one in the dorm downloading music or porn. They started this thing back i think in 1998 or some thing like that.
