Problem with router

I had my computer at a friends hous the other day and lime wire worked fine and he even had the same router (motorola sb5101 surfboard cable modem)...i know some routers come with a firewall already in them any ideas how to add an exception...thanks

contact ISP ask if your modem has a firewall built in. if yes get directions on how to "bridge" the modem. I had same problem once. good luck!!!:)
