does my college block gnutella? I can no longer connect to the network. I can receive incoming connections just fine -- and do. But I can't get even a single outgoing connection. I am sharing files (~1500), I have tried multiple clients, and mutliple versions of limewire. I did the telnet thing and got the GNUTELLA OK string, so my dorm connection wouldn't be blocking gnutella ports, right? If it was, could I set up a proxy server to get around this? Also, when you click on 'connect' in limewire it doesn't do anything. If I want it to try and connect, I have to shutdown limewire and fire it up again. And the manual address entry is broken. Thanks, Josh |
