LIMEWIRE window pops up/then error box???

Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

LIMEWIRE window pops up/then error box???

Soon as I try to open limewire, I get a grey box with this message. Assertion Failed! Program:C:\ProgramFiles\Limewire:exeFiles:/:/:/src/share/native/sun/font/t2k/t2kstrm.C.Line123 expression

os<=t->maxPos for information on how your program can cause an assertion failure see visual C++ documentation on asserts Press Retry to debug the application JIT must be enabled After repeated attempts to start limewire I (only one time)got a message saying: "Limewire could not create a temporary preference directory. Generally caused by a lack of permissions. Make sure Limewire/You have access to create files/folders on your computer.
