Help! Having trouble connecting with to k-lite pro
 
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) If using Windows Vista, please tell us whether you have an Administrator user account. I have XP.
2. What firewalls you have? Should just have the windows one.
3. How much ram? ?
4. Hard Disk space available? ?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) cable
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Linksys WRT54G, Motorola SB4220
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.k-lite pro 2.5.java 1.5.0.11
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)?Cox
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: Ithttp://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. 2 iphones
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. It worked for one night when i installed it
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?Yes.

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled?no and yes it is enabled

16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland).USA

I have done everything. I have turned off my firewall complety. I have execptions checked for klite pro. I uninstalled the trial version of Norton. What else can I do.

Are you using Klite or LW?? The problem might be your router but I'm not familure with Klite

the name Klite is now totally 'corrupted'....it used to be a modified version of KaZaA...now, just like BS, its pwned....i.e. worthless and evil..

I did the prot forwarding and that still did not help me. What else can I do?

K light Do's not work any more with the P2P net work.You might have to get a newer version that's works with Java.Any thing that is past 4.12.0 will not work any more as far as i know.

I switched over to limewire and it is still not working. Im using 4.14.10
