busy downloading but cant make new search

hey guys. firstly i am new here, this is my first post, and i dont know alot about computers.here is my problem. i am busy downloading three files, one audio and two video.but now when i want to search for more stuff, limewire gives me a message with this exact words."limewire is currently connecting to the network.your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network." but the thing is this messge has been popping up for the last two days whenever i want to do a new search.it worked but now i cant search.its busy downloading the other files though. regards from south africa.
