MELG is flying high
Default Will not connect

Have noticed the flood of people unable to connect , including myself. Where does this problem lie? Within our computers or the program? Up until 2 weeks ago everything was fine. then one day - I got stuck on "connecting" Read alkl the forum questions and answers, tried everything. Unistalled, reinstalled -- nothing. Extremely frustrating.

The information requested to help hone in on the problem:
Windows XP
My home computer
Single computer, no others
Broadband (Verizon) connection
Experienced with LW
LW version 4.16
Java edition 6 update 5
RAM - using only 512 mb
Hard space available - 60 %
Went to : www3.limewire.com6346/ --- brought up correct page.No brick in front of firewall in LW program
Windows and McAfee firewalls / both allow LW
McAfee Security

As mentioned it was fine up until about 2 weeks ago.

Help.........

Remoc has a spectacular aura about

Running two Firewalls is counterproductive and will cause conflict. Turn off the Windows Firewall and make sure LW has Full Access through McAfee.

You May check with your ISP. Seems that they are up to No Good. See Link Below.
