Wireless network cant connect

Ive looked though the threads for the same problem but so many "Wont connects" im having a hard time finding somthing. Im using a gateway laptop dont know the model xp with newest LW. Using a belkin wireless g router f5d7230. It stays on 1 bar saying its connecting to the network. Port setup to 65000 and others. In the router control panel in virtual servers it gives me two slots with the correct port compared to limewire. Any other pc on wired network work just fine. I cant hook this up due to ethernet card drivers having issues that i cant seem to get that to work eather. I got it to work last night for a while. Tryed hooking the laptop up to a wired network bypassing the router to speedup the dl speeds and found out about the ethernet card. Hooked it back into the wireless network and now it dosn't work again, cant remember what the hell i did last night to get it to work (i normaly just **** with **** till it works). So, back to square one. I have mult pc's on this network so dont want to port forward and have to setup static ips on all systems. Just have windows firewall with a limewire exception. Any advice? Ive tryed fallowing the steps on the stick, Under application data there is no limewire folder. It is installed on the correct user name so i dunno.

Ok well i found the .limwire folder it was in another area of Documents and settings. Replaced the .net file as it said in the stick and it works now. Also changed a few other settings in the router but im pretty sure it was the .net file but i dunno. Regardless... Odd how it worked fine last night then stoped and then replace that file and it works now. Any way thanks for the stickys.
