Sharing files? I noticed the small green box in the bottom left with and ever rising number. I am a bit of a noob  so am i safe from these files that i am sharing, when i checked last i had never heard of any of the things in the folder. What is it? (its currently on 4035, 3 seconds later its on 4056 etc....) |
Virus? I'm not speaking with any authority here, bur i suspect it is a virus that causes the problem. I have the same problem, I'm sharing hundreds of files i dont know, all in a folder named ' in my system folders. All the files are zipped and about 113 kb big, which is impossible since some files claim to be movies(?). Even if delete these files they reappear when I turn my computer on again, i also cant delete the folder because it's hidden and stay that way no matter what i do. I also cant access my options menu in LW, so i have little control over shared files and unknown downloads. The best solution would be just to run a good antivirus program |

a-huh You're right, i browsed around the forums and heard about some anti-spyware program 'Spybot', everyone said it was legit so i downloaded it and it immediatly picked up and deleted those files, and i havn't had any problems since. Just google spybot and follow the link. |
