Limewire works on one user but not others.
 

Basically what the title says. It's strange, it works fine on my sister's user account but it doesn't get past "starting connection" on mine and the thing is I installed Limewire on my user.

I've tried the same port, setup the necessary firewall exceptions, have the latest version... my sister knows nothing about settings so she would've did anything.

Anyone know what the conflict might be?

Try using a different port than your sister is using and allow it through your firewall. Don't have LW running on both accounts at the same time.

What makes it more annoying, the port used on my sister's account has no firewall exception until I made one while trying the same port on my one:bangh:. God, I hate little baffling, irritating software (and hardware too) problems.
