Firewall is stopping me from connecting to LW
 

Can somebody please help and tell me how I can disable the Firewall logo that appears at the bottom of my Limewire screen whenever I try and connect up please? This never used to happen, its only just been recently and is proving very frustrating each time I try and connnect.

For the new version LW, it's a good idea to delete your previous LW preferences folder. ;)
Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

Oh .. depending on your firewall type, when updating LW, you may need to remove the old rule & re-add a fresh firewall rule for LW. :)
