LW problem!!! (can't connect on one user account)
 

Hi, i have LW installed since 2 years and one week ago i started having problems with it. I can´t connect it and only 1 litlle bar appears in green and it is detecting a firewall that doesn´t allow to connect but it only happens in my profile, i mean, i have 5 profiles in my PC for the rest of my family and iam the administrator of this PC and they can connect it without problems and i cannot. Please help me!!

I have Windows XP
I have windows firewall (i already checked the exception created and it already exists
I have Panda antivirus

I already desinstalled LW and installed it again but nothing happens

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if still no good try this link (Fixes for LW when LW isn't operating as it should) if yr problem still remains click on (system details) fill in and post back here

thanx for the feedback -- which fix did it for you please -- just in case other people read this with the same problem.

I tried to disconnect it and re-connect it after 5 minutes but nothing!

I disabled the auto-connect on start up stuff to make it manually but nothing!

then i removed the gnutella.net file and installed it again and DONE!!!

as simple as that.

I have to connect it manually cuz i left it like this and it is not having problem at all!!

I used the first fix by the way (IF LW will not connect) and I tried with the 3 first options until I "fixed" it!!!
