Hi to all! (used to work fine, now can't connect)
 

Hello Everyone,

I really need some help with connecting with Limewire. I am not a new user and it use to work fine. I am baffled and don't get it. I have some of the answers to the standard questions but not all. Heres what I know.

I get no error messages, I just get one bar at the connection.

1. Windows xp
2. Windows Firewall exception was removed and replaced.
3. How much ram? Dont know
4. Hard Disk space available? Dont know
5. Connection type? Broadband 7mb
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? 2wire gateway advance modem thru qwest
7. Connecting from home
8. What version of LimeWire Limewire 4.18.2 Java 1.5 version.
9. Isp is MSN
10. Test said workiing
11. Connection is wireless shared with one other PC
12. I am not a new user and it just stopped working.
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? _ yes
14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? Dont know
15. What security programs are you using AVG
16. What country are you living in? United States

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if still no good try this link (Fixes for LW when LW isn't operating as it should) if yr problem still remains click on (system details) fill in and post back here
