Hello,

Have been reading a lot of other posts, and tried a lot of things. I used to be able to use LW without any problems at all (loved it). As of a couple of days ago, I can no longer connect with Limewire. I am using XP, AOL 9.1 (with the McAfee that comes with AOL). I have made sure LW is listed with full access in McAfee. I have tried removing and reinstalling - no luck. Tried changing the port to 65000, no luck. I don't know if there were any automatic updates that might have taken place that is preventing LW from connecting. HELP!

Try the fixes in the thread below. If you've recently updated your LW, try deleting the preferences folder first.
If nothing there helps, post back with your system details:)
If LW Will Not Connect

cant connect either

cant connect either but I think it has to do with limewire not bieng able to get past a firewall and I dont know how to disable it.
