Default MICROSOFT SECURITY UPDATE blocks LIMEWIRE!! (KB890830)

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - June 2008 (KB890830)

I accidently updated my Windows with this requested security update from Windows Microsoft. Now my limewire does not work. Is there a way to uninstall this update from microsoft?!?!

HELP ME i need limewire back and I paid for it!!

Have the same update and just opened LW with no problem. I would not mess with MS Update over LW.
MS gives these Updates for Good Reason.
It's your choice though.

Default Uninstall update

If you are running Vista open windows update and at the bottom left of the screen you will see a link Installed updates click on that and it will take you to a screen of all your updates then choose the one you want and click uninstall and your done

The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool helps remove specific, prevalent malicious software from computers that are running Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 check this out. i download it to and im wondering as well. please let me know if removing it works

I too ran the MS MSRT yesterday under XP and LW is connecting fine.
