Default Limewire has brickwall, but all firewalls are disabled. What is up?

I have windows xp & macaffee. I have had limewire for years and it has worked fine. all of the sudden, in late May, it now has that brickwall saying i have a firewall blocking it. the problem is that i have my windows firewall and my macaffee firewall both turned off, so how is it possible that i am being blocked when it has been working fine for the last 4years? i tried unistalling limewire and reinstalling it and playing with all kinds of settings in macaffee and windows and limewire, but nothing works. one day limewire just started working, but a couple days later, it was blocked again. PLEASE HELP!

Default New & Can't get past firewall

So I'm just downloaded LW, went through the suggestions for dealing with a firewall using a MAC OS X and it still isn't working. I only know the answers to a few questions, but here they are. Hopefully you can help!

1. OS version? Mac OS X 10.4.11
2. What firewalls you have? Not sure how to find this answer
3. How much ram? 256 MB ?
4. Hard Disk space available?not sure
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)cable/broadband
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Linksys WRT54G
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version 4.10.5 Java 1.5.0_13
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? Cox Communications
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? "It worked"
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. I don't think so
12. Is this a your 1st try at FW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. 1st try
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of FW's interface? yes

I also have a PC for my home computer, is there some way I can download LW on that computer without paying again?
