Gnutella Forums - Firewall

When trying to connect, there is a note that says "Firewall detected". How can I get rid of the firewall? Thanks for any info you can give me.

I'm looking for the same help!!

LW won't connect and detects a firewall. Windows firewall is off. Norton has its exceptions set to allow LW.

UPnP on my router is set to the right port.

And still....NO CONNECTION!!

I'm no computer genius but any help would be appreciated..PLEASE!!

I have the same problem, and I think is a worldwide phenomena...How can I disconnect the firewall????

If you have a router firewall you must configure this to allow LW full access

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if your problem remains click on (system details) fill in and post back here
