Went Wireless, now can't connect. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi All,

New member, going nuts! Have new ISP (Talk Talk) new wireless router, new OS (Vista) and now there is absolutely no way I can connect to Limewire....oh, I also have a new security system, Trend Micro Security Pro. I have no idea which one of these is stopping me connecting. so I don't know where to start. I even took the ultimate step of turning off my Trend Micro security suite, but still wouldn't connect. Never had any trouble before with Limewire. Am running brand new version. What do I do? Where do I start? Please help me!!!!!

Only use 1 software firewall...so if you're using the Trend Micro firewall, make sure that Vista's firewall is off. You don't need to disable your firewall, just make sure that it's allowing LW.

There are fixes to try in the thread below. If nothing there helps, post back with your system details (the thread has info about the details that we need).
If LW Will Not Connect

TalkTalk have caused problems for a lot of LW users. Use the forum search to look for talktalk & you'll find more threads, too.

Many thanks for your reply. There's some very interesting stuff there. Will go through stage by stage. At least I have some clue as to where to start now!
