Default Connection "quality: connecting"

ive looked at 9128731293 threads on this and have tried EVERY possible solution in the past 3 days...i recently reinstalled windows and i have zone alarm on my dell...thats it...and i cant connect...i could connect fine before but not anymore...any suggestions?

ISP :: Verizon (FiOS)
machine :: Dell (XP Media)

EDIT::

I have no Limewire Folder in my App' Dada folder...wtf?

BTW did you try "all" the suggestions here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html

Remember if you're using zone alarm firewall, then give LW an exception firewall rule. Also disable XP firewall, otherwise it will clash with zone alarm.

2. What firewalls you have?
Zone alarm pro...have removed and re-added LW as an acception and tried turning off
3. How much ram?
512MB
4. Hard Disk space available?
60+Gb on C and 150 on secondary
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
Fiberoptic...Verizon EXTREMEly hispeed
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
ActiontechModem
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)?

8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
Pro 4.8.0 and i have a regular installer...tried both
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?
Verizon FiOS
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?

11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
Im connected directly to modem...my parents computer upstairs running off the wireless on this modem has limewire regular
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user.
expierenced user...had LW for years

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled?
have port forwarding i believe...
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Some people might not be aware that their security suite includes a firewall
no virus protection rite now...but Zone Alarm Pro
16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland).

thx for the help ? i reposted bot no help....

Whenever i try to connect to Limewire, Ares, Morpheus or seemingly any p2p program, it will say connecting and not connect...i have no idea why...i reinstalled windows recently and my moms computer upstairs works fine...but none of these programs work on my pc...I have taken every possible step, and i still cant figure it out.. Added acception on windows firewall, turned OFF windows firewall, UNINSTALLED my security (zone alarm)...still no difference...
