Hi Pr3dy Using Two Firewalls will actually give you less protection and also cause other problems like perhaps what your experiancing now. Either use one or the other. You probably need to also update Java Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer) Java SE Downloads Fifth one down. ( 1.6.7 ). Not sure if Telenet Throttles Bandwidth, but you may give them a call and see if you can get a straight answer about any restrictions against the use of P2P. Lastly, and Please don't take offense to this, but you may consider a better AV. There are some really decent Free AV programs and Firewalls available. After reading the Review below, I became a little concerned. PC World - Panda Antivirus 2007 Review Hope this Helps. |
Thanks man, it worked! I needed to update Java and he's working again :D greetings, Pr3dy |
in XP start>control panel>add remove programs and then find the java entry and choose to uninstall it...then install the newer version... |
