You're using an older version of Java...did you try updating to the latest version & rolling back to the older version mentioned in the help thread? Remember to remove all other Java versions before updating or rolling back.
What's the model of your Linksys?
Do you mean that you set up port forwarding? Did you use instructions from portforward.com ?
Did you set up a static IP address before port forwarding?
Just in case - check your port forwarding setup. Go here, find your model of router, choose LW from the list of programs. You'll get step by step instructions for port forwarding & a link to static IP setup: PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall | Funny story, my keyboard died last night. So I can't do anything until I get a new one. I followed the instructions word for word from PortForward when I originally did it. Also, the version of LimeWire that I had is the one I downloaded from the website. I didn't look for the .limewire folder, but I will when I can get back into my computer.  |
