New to the forum - I cannot connect, no matter what I do - Help ? Hi, I am new to the forum and wanted to indtroduce myself, since I am sure I will have a lot of questions. I can't connect to Lime Wire, no matter what I try. I have Lime Wire Pro and have been in touch with tech support with no luck. I tried everything they suggested. I kind of felt the person helping me thought I was stupid, so I don't want to try that again. I have been in touch with Norton anti virus, my ISP, and neither one of them could figure out my problem. I am able to connect at work, but not at home, so it is something within my desk top at home. My work computer and home computer have nothing to do with each other. When I check the connections tab, there is nothing going on. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Liz USA |
In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if after all this your problem still remains click on (system details) fill in and post back here |
Thanks for the links. I have tried a couple of the suggestions. I am going to try to re-install the Gnutella file, and see if that helps. Liz USA |
