Firewall
I am not seeing any answers to the firewall problem.
I too have tried everything from un=installing/reinstalling limewire turning off mcafee.....uninstalling mcafee opening ports i am still getting the globe with the brick wall..... It started a couple weeks ago...nothing has changed on my computer????

Don't forget to disable your Windows firewall.

Delete the limewire applications folder which is which should be in C:\Documents in settings\owner\application data\ limewire
unistall limewire, then reinstall it, that works for about 95% of people. If you cant find this folder im talking about then do a search on your computer for limewire, that should show you. let me know if this works for you.
