Taking 10 minutes to do a search
System details:
WIn XP, using broadband,(Comcast), Other stuff- LW ver 4.1.8.3. JAVA 1.6.0_07, "may test worked" at 3limewire.com, Using Norton Anti-virus 2008 (Ver 15.0.0.58) I CAN connect but it takes 10 minutes to finally have a INITIAL search completed. At first the LW icon moves then it stops (I guess that means the connection stalls??) eventually by doing nothing the search gets done--like about 10 minutes later. Subsequent searches are fast!! A LW FAQ indicated that the more you keep LW active the faster the searches. Why? Is this something new? Dave
