Default Another cant connect to limewire, weird circumstances

Hi as the title says I cant connect o limewire. Its soooooooooooooo weird though because yesterday I tried to connect however it would not go past one green bar. I have never had a problem before with Limewire connecting and I have not installed anything different since last using it!!!

I have tried opening ports and turning off all of my anti virus software (McAfee) but still it wont connect. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling however this still did not help things.

Here are my details for anyone to help me please!!!!

OS: Windows Vista Premium.
Current Firewall in operation: Windows Firewall (Limewire exception active). McAfee firewall disabled.
Connection type: broadband.
ISP: Easynet/Sky
Version limewire: Latest, Java updated last week to latest version.
Test on this website: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ - loaded 'Your test worked!'
There is a brick wall in front of the globe meaning there is a firewall problem.
Went onto bug reports and it says 'False' meaning there is a problem with the firewall!!!
Also I have tried my brothers computer with McAfee and Windows Vista and this works fine!!!

Any suggestions on how to resolve this please let me know asap!!!

Also if you require any more information please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Are both LW's using same router? If yes, make sure your LW is using a different connection & listening port to your brother's LW. Under tools > options > Advanced > firewalls.

For new versions of LW, sometimes you need to remove the previous firewall rule & re-add it for the new LW.

Check other options here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html
