Unhappy Connecting...connecting.. Help please!!

Not really to up on any of this stuff, limewire has worked for me in the past but i dont know whats going on today. It stays at "you are currently connecting to the network" and it says "limewire has detected a firewall" the only thing is idk if its said that before or not! And i go to connections and it says all my hosts are still trying to connect. I unistalled limewire and all of its componets, completly deleted everything that went with it, and then i reinstalled it and its still the same. In the Internet options (idk if it has anything to do with it..but..) In the security part, i marked it as a trusted site. And i've also gone thru the start>settings>control panel>allow program thru windows firewall. What the heck is going on what do i need to do??
