My Limewire will NOT connect

I have Limewire Pro 4.9 with Windows XP Pro and it says a firewall has been detected and I do NOT have one (the Windows firewall is turned OFF) and it says "starting connection" and it NEVER does.
Can someone PLEASE tell me what to do? Thanks

I installed the free Limewire basic and whatever it did made the 4.9 Pro version work!!..LOL:Smilywais:

I'm sure they will come in useful whenever this happens again in the future-hopefully never will though..ha ha..Silly
