New LW not connecting...
Hey guys!
I've just downloaded the new Limewire 4.18.5 and suddenly, I can't connect anymore. I checked in my Firewall (Zone alarm) and LW is authorized, but I just can't seem to get it "online". Before deleating everything I wanted to know if there was something else I could try... Thanx

Try the fixes in the thread below. If nothing there helps, post back with your system details.

Tried it, even downloaded LW 4.18.6, still no change. I've got Windows XP Media Center Edition.

Try an earlier version.
 LimeWire - OldVersion.com such as LW 4.12 or 4.16

help
i too am having problems. i am sorry for all the trouble my questions my be causing. but ive tried the uninstalling and the fixing my firewall. nothing is helping. i have vista and dsl. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Me TOO!!!!!
this is bad. this is bad bad bad. 4 whole days no connection. i let limewire through my firewall i tested every single connection im starting to thing lw sucks. Posts. ill be payin my life away on this itunes store garbage. i say help of duration of all my life. plz. help me. what i am right now:

Well i had the same problem. Had limewire for a couple of years no problem. I upgraded and wham i couldnt get connected.I tried everything. I took your advice and downgraded to a older version adnd now im back on.

i found out the problem. i downloaded a newer version of limewire,
disconnected it then re connected it and then boom i was off downloading songs. thanks guys!
