I can connect but it wont search
 

I NEVER have a problem with my limewire.. been using it for years, nothing has changed in my house.. today while looking up songs it wont search for anything, nothign will come up in searces no matter who's name or song I put in.... is there a problem with Limewire today?

Try this :-

In Limewire go tools -> Options -> Searching -> Basic & check whether the show License warning box is ticked. If it does, untick it -> Apply -> Ok

it wasn't checked... can't be that... I dont know what is going on!

If it happens again, go to View menu, choose to Show Connections window. Make a note of your ultrapeer ip addresses you are connected to in that window. Then close LW, wait 5-10 mins & then connect again. If same problem with searching, try removing some of the ultrapeers if they are the same as before. ;) It's worth a try. :)
